For over 40 years I have worked with mushrooms, gaining a wealth of experience that I bring to my consulting business. I am proud of my strengths: my extensive experience, ranging from harvesting and cultivation to the art of composting, .
In 1982 I started growing mushrooms in my family business and I have never stopped since.
Latest technologies: I have kept pace with advances in cultivation, harvesting, and composting systems.
My ability to manage these modern tools has resulted in greater efficiency and consistent quality in several projects. Using the latest technologies, I ensure that the mushroom cultivation process is optimized to meet the needs of today’s market. From automating climate control to monitoring growth patterns, technology integration is at the heart of my consulting services.
In 2012 I created a new system for producing substrates for the cultivation of exotic and medicinal mushrooms that I called “Fungitainer”, a very compact and easy to install system that includes the heat treatment and inoculation phases in a single environment.
This system is now present in various mushroom farms around the world.
Start-up projects: My passion for mushrooms has led me to work on several start-up projects around the world. I have helped new farms thrive, adapting to unique challenges, materials and climates. Each new initiative enriches my understanding of what makes a successful mushroom growing business.
Education: I collaborate with the mushroom growing school Mycelia Academy in Belgium as a teacher of substrate preparation.
Language skills: One of the unique aspects of my career is my ability to communicate across different cultures. Fluent in Italian, Spanish and English has not only allowed me to work with a wide range of clients, but has also enriched my understanding of different cultivation techniques and traditions. These language skills have been instrumental in my global reach, breaking down barriers and fostering collaboration.
International Presence: I consider the different cultures and methods I have encountered invaluable in my approach to mushroom cultivation and adapt my work to the different needs of my clients in order to always obtain the best possible results.
